Coal Steam Boiler in Fertiliser Plant
Nitrogen-based artificial fertilisers are made through processes which require high temperatures (300–400°C) and pressures (200–300 atmospheres). Ammonia requires at least 28 GJ per tonne to produce. Conversely, organic fertiliser can be made with no external heat or energy sources, through vertical composting unit technologies, which utilise heat generated naturally from organic decomposition. Therefore, a steam boiler is needed in the fertilizer plant for the supply of high temperature and pressure steam.
Coal firing CFB steam boiler in a fertilizer plant
A client of fertilizer plant purchased one set of 35 ton coal fired CFB steam boiler many years ago, and recently the factory contacted us and asked for a new CFB steam boiler for its expanding production. According to the manager, that steam boiler is still running well and he spoke highly of our product.
