Type Selection of EFB Biomass Power Plant Boiler
The empty fruit string is the empty fruit bund (EFB) separated from the stem after ripening palm fruit. EFB has low lignin content and high fiber and cellulose content, and can be used as fuel for biomass power generation boilers. In order to improve combustion efficiency, it is necessary to use cutting machine and other equipment to treat the empty fruit string to form biomass particles. A large amount of fuel is needed to generate electricity from a biomass boiler burning an empty fruit string. In order to save the cost of fuel transportation, it is better to build a power plant in a fuel-rich area.

There are two types of boilers for our company's biomass fired power generation boiler: corner tube power plant boiler and circulating fluidized bed (CFB) biomass fired boiler.
1. EFB fired corner tube power plant boiler
Capacity:10-160 tons. Corner tube power plant boiler adopts GEF program's technology. Based on the domestic and foreign technical research, according to the technical development characteristics and market demand of chain grate, we carried out independent innovative design so as to produce the high-capacity energy-saving chain grate boilers with advantages of reliable water cycling, efficient burning and low pollution.
a. Corner tube type and self load bearing structure to solve the problems of expansion and support;
b. Full welding membrane water wall structure, good sealing, small heat loss;
c. Adopt cross beam type grate, the operation resistance is small, the failure rate is low;
d. layer combustion + suspension combustion", high efficiency.
2. EFB fired CFB power plant boiler
Capacity:35-410 tons. Circulating fluidized bed boiler is the heat equipment used mainly in the western development, using this technology can make S02 and N0x coal-fired power plant boiler flue gas concentration of harmful gas is reduced by 80% ~ 90%, can effectively reduce coal-fired power generation for the atmospheric pollution of the environment.
a. Furnace and secondary air: make combustible materials burn out in the furnace;
b. Superheater: avoid high temperature superheater ash deposition, reduce the high temperature corrosion;
c. Low pressure operation, low flow speed of flue gas, hardly abrasive heating surface, low frequency of maintenance;
d. Annual operating time longer than 8000 hours.
