Maintenance Method for Gas Steam Boiler

1. The water supply of gas steam boiler must be treated in a qualified way, which is an important matter for prolonging the life of the boiler and ensuring the safety of the operation.

2. Feed water temperature should be close to the furnace body temperature, preferably at 20 C or above.

3. The low water cutoff device must be regularly inspected and maintained. The water level controller is cleaned at least once a month, and the water level is washed at least once a day. Water level flush should be at the highest water level; the water level after washing should not be lower than the minimum safety water level, if one time washing is not clean, it can be washed many times, but it must be washed at the highest water level.

4. The discharge operation should be carried out regularly, at least once a day, and the leakage should be checked if the discharge valve is affected by the sewage; if any, it must be excluded.

5. When the steam is stopped and the steam pressure is not maintained, the negative pressure will be generated in the steam space of the boiler and the air will be left behind. Therefore, the total steam valve should be opened first when the fire is fired again.

6.Ash accumulation in the flue pipe will lead to an increase in the temperature of the flue gas, which will reduce the efficiency of the boiler and increase the consumption of fuel. Therefore, the front and rear door covers should be opened periodically to remove or blow away the flue deposits.
