The Application of Heat Recovery Steam Generator
A heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) is an energy recovery heat exchanger that recovers heat from a hot gas stream. It produces steam that can be used in a process (cogeneration) or used to drive a steam turbine (combined cycle). Heat recovery steam generator consists of four major components: the economizer, evaporator, superheater and water preheater. HRSGs are used for steam production or energy generation utilising the waste heat from gas turbines, medium speed diesel engines or recovering the waste heat of some industrial processes.
The most common design of heat recovery steam generators is a water-tube, bi-drum, natural circulation structure. This boiler design presents several advantages:
1.Modular package design, with the possibility to meet specific customer needs
2.Factory pre-assembled and tested boiler and economiser
3.Simple, fast and safe site installation
4.Proved design with rapid start up capability
5.High thermal efficiency at all pressure levels
6.Minimal maintenance and cost effective operation.
ZBG provides flue gas waste heat recovery steam boilers for customers, which are different from heat recovery steam generator, if you want to know what’s the difference between them, please contact zbgboiler@zzboiler.com or call 86-371-86062323.
