Isfahan Saman Energy Co. as energy management consultant of Mobarakeh Steel Complex (MSC) is preparing and evaluating technical information of heat recovery solutions from the source of Top Gas (T.G) of DRI plant.
Typically the T.G. temperatures is about 430°C and flowrate is around 164000 Nm3/hr. The important parameter of T.G. is that the gas is dirty as its composition and dust containment is mentioned in the attached tables. In addition, the plant required saturated vapor at pressure of 11 bar.
Please let me have your technical proposal about proper waste heat recovery boiler regarding to above mentioned data as well as introducing any reference in steel production plants.

In recent years, a certain iron and steel group in Kunming has actively developed and applied advanced technologies for energy conservation and emission reduction, taking energy conservation and emission reduction as an important task for improving the quality and efficiency of steel production and transforming production methods.
The low-temperature (300℃~400℃) flue gas waste heat of Kungang's two 130M2 sintering machines was only used to produce steam for domestic and production use in the past, and the waste heat utilization rate was less than 25%, and most of it was discharged. Since 2006, Kunshan Iron and Steel has cooperated with a Beijing Science and Technology Co., Ltd., Zhengzhou Boiler Group and other units through industry-university-research cooperation to jointly implement the "5MW sintering machine low-temperature waste heat recovery technology research and demonstration" project, applying high-efficiency heat pipe heat exchange technology and air leakage control 5 high-efficiency waste heat recovery technologies, including hot water flashing technology, dual-pressure steam-water generation system, and steam heat storage technology. The sintering machine flue gas waste heat boiler is used for power generation. A 5MW low-temperature waste heat power station was built, The annual power generation capacity is 36.88 million kWh, equivalent to 12,908 tons of standard coal, the annual electricity cost is 20.28 million yuan saved, and the waste heat utilization rate is more than 70%, which is at the leading domestic level, realizing the effective use of sintering flue gas waste heat.
Sinter-cooler waste heat boiler is available to sinter-cooler machine in iron & steel industry.
