How To Identify The Quality of Oil Fired Boiler
Equipment quality is the most concerned issue. This paper mainly discuss how to identify the quality of oil fired boiler when factories purchase a new boiler product.
Operating parameters and process indicators
The main operating parameters of oil fired boiler include the rated boiler evaporation, rated steam pressure, rated steam temperature and feed water temperature. The operation parameters curve of a good quality oil fired boiler in operating is smooth, small fluctuation range, and it is possible to maintain a regular work.
Qualified steam quality
The steam quality should be qualified, in addition to the requirements of steam parameter, pressure and temperature in line with provisions. Steam quality is the cleanness of steam , referring to the content of impurities in steam.
Energy efficiency
How is oil-fired boiler quality also reflects in whether it is energy efficiency, including whether fuel combustion in the furnace is complete, whether the boiler thermal efficiency can meet the design values, etc.
Low fly ash, slag amount
Less boiler ash, slag mean the boiler fuel can be burnt fully, the oil fired boiler is of high combustion efficiency, so it discharges less fly ash and slag.
Flue gas temperature at a reasonable value range
The required flue gas temperature is varied for different boiler model, for example, industrial boiler and power plant boiler, the two boilers have different flue gas temperature requirements. In general, oil fired steam boiler requires its exhaust flue gas temperature should be no less than 150℃. The temperature should be at a reasonable range, too high temperature will cause heat losses and affect boiler thermal efficiency; too low temperature will cause low temperature corrosion.
Above are some aspects for determining oil fired steam boiler’s quality, if you need to choose a new boiler, welcome to contact with us, we will offer you a proper boiler solution!
