How to Clean Waste Heat Boiler Tubes in Cement Plant
More than 35% of heat in cement plant is discharged without utilization, which is a big energy waste. Now more and more cement plants choose waste heat recovery boiler for recycling the discharged waste heat to generate power. However, ineffective removal of ash deposits from boiler tubes have in many occasions lead to boiler in-efficiency, capacity reductions, tube overheating failures and unscheduled shut downs. So it is necessary to clean the waste heat boiler tubes for improving its efficiency and security.
There are there common blowing measures for waste heat boiler tube cleaning.
Steam Soot-blowing
It uses high-pressure steam as the working medium, through the soot blowing pipe and soot blower the high pressure steam purges the heat transfer surface in the form of injection. This measure is to use the impact energy of the high pressure steam for ash cleaning.
Sonic soot blowing
Sonic soot blowing is cleaning of fouled surfaces by compressed air operated sonic soot blowers. Sound waves sent inside the waste heat boiler propagate in all directions and impart energy to ash particulates which fluidize and jump up from fouled surfaces to be carried away by the flue gas stream. Cleaning is effective even deep into tube bundles leaving no dead corners unclean.
Mechanical vibration ash cleaning
The mechanical vibration ash cleaning of cement kiln waste heat boiler is a relatively safe and effective cleaning method, and relatively easy to implement. But there is only limited rapping cleaning machinery percussion, a single mode of action, the effect is limited. Ash deposits are detached from the wall in the stress of repeated vibration.
